Design Phase & Planning
BHI uses a drafting software and Photoshop to superimpose landscaping designs based on your property.
Through the use of three-dimensional concepts and images, BHI can display the final concept of your property, before planting and gardening is complete.
Condominium Landscaping
BHI specializes in condominium maintenance. BHI has been servicing the condominium management industry since 1974.
All condominiums are cared and serviced by a team of qualified landscapers who apply time proven methods of horticultural expertise to make these properties shine.
Winter Service
We offer 12 months of service from spring to winter. BHI is available on-call to address any weather conditions. We monitor local weather radar, and news to keep on top of winter weather.
BHI puts customers first and caters to all of your winter needs in a professional and timely manner.
History
In 1974, Vito Burdi founded Concord Weed Control. Clients acknowledged the skill and expertise in the company's work and performance. Soon, there became a high demand to incorporate landscape maintenance into Concord's list of services.
The timing of such venture brought Concord Weed Control to offer landscaping and gardening into the new residential and commercial
market, most commonly referred to as condominiums.
The company soon became a key name among condominium
developers and condominium management companies.
1988- Recognized by the Landscape Ontario Trade Association.
1995- 1st place in the Beautiful York Contest for 250 Heath St., located in the heart of Forest Hills Village.
Mission
In 2001, the company's name changed under the ownership of Michael Burdi.
The company, Burdi Horticultural Inc., reflects the family history and professionalism in the horticultural industry.
Burdi Horticultural Inc. is built on old traditions and work ethic combined with new technological and current skills and training.
The company values quality and care through its service and environmental practices.
Qualifications
Michael Burdi holds a background in Landscape Technology from Humber College, a nationally renowned institution for its educational standards in the horticultural field.
Government certified horticulturalist, landscaper and greenskeeper as recognized by the Ministry of Trades Canada.
Licensed in the application of Herbicides, Fungicides and Insecticides.
